PILOT Online Peer Surgery: Dealing with Difficult Trustees

Tuesday 3 December 2019. 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Connect, share and learn

Our NEW online peer surgeries are designed to help you connect with other Chairs and Vice Chairs, share your experiences and learn from those who may be facing similar challenges and opportunities to you.

The surgeries will be led by a session leader, a fellow Chair, who will begin by sharing their experience on a particular topic. There will then be opportunity for you to ask questions and share your experiences. The aim is not for the session leader to give you advice, but to create an environment where all those on the surgery can share their experiences, learn and support one another.

Roma Hooper, Chair of Prison Radio Association, will lead our first online peer surgery on 3rd December. She will share her experience on dealing with a difficult trustee on her board, what she did, what worked well and what she learnt.

Join the surgery to connect with 6 – 12 other Chairs face to face via video over the online platform, Zoom. Never used Zoom before? Do not worry! Following sign up we will send you a link to join the video call and instructions on how to use Zoom (e.g. how to check your sound and video are working).
