Looking after yourself as Chair - resources

As Chair / Vice Chair of a charity, looking after yourself is important. The Association of Chairs exists to support anyone in a chairing role.

To mark World Mental Health Day on 10 October, we temporarily removed the membership wall for our resource about self-care, produced as part of our Beacon Programme for smaller charities.

The guide has now gone back behind the membership wall. Chairs / Vice Chairs of England-based organisations with an annual income under £1m, can join the Beacon Programme for free and access this guide. It has tips about finding sources of support as well as tips for looking after yourself day-to-day, not just when the going gets tough.
