Positive Boards: Creating a Healthy Organisational Culture

It has become a Trustees’ Week tradition for AoC to join forces with the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) for an event for Chairs and trustees, and the theme this year is: Positive Boards: Creating a Healthy Organisational Culture.  The event will look at how to establish and maintain positive relationships and build a safe organisational culture.  It includes a short workshop exploring the building blocks of a successful team and considers why trust is so important.

As part of the seminar, our Vice Chair John Williams is presenting jointly with Acevo CEO Vicky Browning, addressing the “Role of the Chair and Chief Executive in creating a positive Board culture”.  It is being hosted by law firm Hugh James and introduced by their partner, Emma Burns, who is Chair of Breast Cancer Care.
