Is the public falling out of love with the charity sector? …and what can Chairs do about it – individually and collectively?

Monday 9 May 2016. 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Lunchtime round table with Andrew Hind CB

Andrew Hind is joining us for our first lunchtime speaker session. He has had a distinguished career in the public and charity sectors, being the first CEO of the Charity Commission, from 2004 to 2010; earlier he was a senior executive with ActionAid and Barnardo’s before moving to the BBC in 1995, where he was chief operating officer of BBC World Service.  Andrew was until recently editor of Charity Finance, and last Autumn became Chair of the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB).  Andrew will give his unique perspective on the challenges the sector faces, not least the new plans for fundraising regulation and restoring public trust and confidence.
