Chair-to-Chair: An opportunity to meet and learn from other Chairs and Vice Chairs
Do you chair a charity? Ever wish you could talk to someone who faces similar challenges and opportunities? Perhaps someone who has already been there and done that, who understands, and you can learn from? Chairs (and Vice Chairs) often tell us they find it really helpful to meet other Chairs and share challenges and solutions. If this sounds good to you – please come to our Chair to Chair event in Bournemouth, which we are delighted to be hosting with Community Action Network. It’s an opportunity to meet and learn from other Chairs. And to explore ideas for helping Chairs to help each other, and how CAN and AoC could help.
6:00 Welcome and introductions (tea, coffee, biscuits). Talk on how AoC and CAN can support Chairs in the area
6.30 Session to explore issues of concern to Chairs
7.00 Group brainstorming
7.25 Review and next steps
7.40 Buffet and informal networking
This workshop is only open to those who have registered with the Beacon Programme. This free programme is aimed at Chairs and Vice Chairs of smaller charities in England with an annual income of under £1 million.
