Andrew Purkis spoke to the Association of Chairs on 14 March 2017, at a dinner hosted by CCLA. He offered us his thoughts on the dilemmas for Chairs and boards in maintaining independence.
Andrew is well-placed to talk on the topic having chaired four charities: The Green Alliance, Living Streets, The Empty Homes Agency and ActionAid and is currently deputy chair of the University’s Ombudsman’s scheme.
